Artist Jim Doran has made paper sculptures to be placed in a variety of objects such as a plastic iPod box, an Altoids tin, a fish can, and more.
Notes from the artist’s statement (publish on Doran’s website):
The things I make reflect my fascination with the sea, the macabre, the divine and the metaphysical. I make dioramas, paper cut-outs and tiny pen & ink drawings. I extrude my drawings in an attempt to give them life in our three dimensional world. I put ideas inside of other objects. I am self taught.
