Everyone knows the best part of a muffin is the top. I always save the top for last. Well, Iowa Girl Eats suggests that we “stop wasting muffin stumps.” I agree! Let’s give these Blueberry Muffin Top Cookies a try and see if they are, in fact, just like muffin tops. According to Iowa Girl Eats, the muffin-like fluffiness of the cookies comes from the (now not so) secret ingredient lemon zest. Ahh, the delicious wonders of culinary science.
